Golden Globes Golden Globes: incetta di nomination per «Il potere del cane» e «Belfast»
Il western di Jane Campion e il film di formazione di Kenneth Branagh in lizza per il premio di Migliore Film.
«Il potere del cane» e «Belfast» guidano le nomination dei Golden Globes 2022.
Il western di Jane Campion, con protagonista Benedict Cumberbatch, e il film di formazione in bianco e nero di Kenneth Branagh hanno conquistato sette nomination a testa. I nominati sono stati annunciati dal rapper Snoop Dogg e dalla nuova presidente della Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Helen Hoehne, al Beverly Hilton di Los Angeles.
Entrambi i film sono in lizza per i premi di Miglior Film, Migliore sceneggiatura e Migliore film drammatico. «Il poter del cane» ha ottenuto la nomination anche per il Migliore attore per Cumberbatch, Migliore colonna sonora per Jonny Greenwood, e Migliori attori non protagonisti, Kirsten Dunst e Kodi Smit-McPhee. «Belfast» invece è candidato per le statuette di Migliore canzone originale e per i ruoli di non protagonista con Ciaran Hinds, Jamie Dornan e Caitriona Balfe.
Nella categoria Miglior Film Drammatico sono in lizza «CODA», «Dune» e «Una famiglia vincente – King Richard», mentre per il Miglior Film sarà sfida anche tra «Cyrano», «West Side Story», «Tick, tick... BOOM!», «Don’t Look Up» e «Licorice Pizza».
Per i premi televisivi, cinque nomination per «Succession», tra cui Migliore serie televisiva – drammatica, e per i suoi protagonisti Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook e Kieran Culkin. Più nomination anche per «Ted Lasso», «The Morning Show», «Maid», «Hacks», «Squid Game» e «Only Murders».
La cerimonia dei Golden Globes 2022 si terrà il 9 gennaio. Per protesta contro la poca diversità, lo show non verrà trasmesso in televisione.
