Spettacolo MTV Video Music Awards: tutte le nomination

(Cover) - IT Showbiz - Sono state svelate le nomination per gli MTV Video Music Awards 2017.

Con ben otto candidature si preannuncia Kendrick Lamar il grande protagonista della cerimonia di premiazione, che si terrà il 27 agosto al The Forum di Los Angeles.

Per aggiudicarsi il Video of The Year per la clip di Humble., il rapper dovrà battere la concorrenza di Bruno Mars (24K Magic), Alessia Cara (Scars To Your Beautiful), DJ Khaled ft Rihanna & Bryson Tyler (Wild Thoughts) e The Weeknd (Reminder).

Grande novità dell’anno è l’introduzione della categoria Artist Of The Year, che sostituisce il Best Male Artist e Best Female Artist: a giocarsi la statuetta saranno Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd e il plurinominato Lamar, presente anche nelle categorie Best Hip Hop, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects e Best Choreography.

Nel corso della cerimonia di premiazione verrà incoronato anche il Best Fight Against the System, ovvero l’artista che grazie alla sua musica è riuscito a «reagire e a lottare contro le ingiustizie».
