Who doesnâÄôt love a bit of glitter. Most of us love a little sparkle in our lives, and here to make sure we get it is specialist face and body art company, Go Get Glitter.

Founded by Sophia Levy and Holly Pollack two years ago, the girls are taking glitter to a whole new level with their shimmering creations that range from make up for special occasions and events, to entire glitter clothing collections.

âÄúWe thought that there was a gap in the market, and considering how popular glitter is, we wanted to fill it with products that would encourage people to be different and stand out from everyone else,âÄù Sophia tells Cover Images.

Working from their one of a kind pop up stand the glitter duo and their team of trained professionals also attend hen parties, weddings, corporate parties, festivalsâÄ¦ basically any event that needs glitter!

And since launching two years ago Go Get Glitter has gone from strength to strength with the girls launching their own products a year ago so that they could share the glitter love!

Se ci prepariamo ad un evento del genere ci sono trucchi che non possono assolutamente mancare nei nostri zaini. Ecco la nostra pratica guida.

La stagione dei festival è iniziata alla grande. E se siamo in partenza per qualche giorno (o anche solo per uno) è essenziale non dimenticarci alcuni must da beauty-case. Ecco la lista dell’esperta del trucco Nigit Begum.

Per gli occhi

Il primo consiglio della nostra specialista è di iniziare con un buon primer, come Smashbox Photo Finish, che manterrà il make-up al suo posto per tutta la serata. L’ombretto è rigorosamente colorato: non c'è occasione migliore di un festival per sperimentare con il trucco: oro, verde, azzurro, rosa sono i colori che cerchiamo. Proviamo la palette di Morphe, che offre una varietà di toni brillanti ideali per questo genere di impegni estivi. Usiamo un pennello per l’applicazione e rendiamo il tutto omogeneo.

Il prossimo step: un eyeliner resistente all’acqua come MAC Pro Longwear, o in alternativa Eyeko Yoga e CoverGirl, LashBlast Volume Waterproof Mascara. Se ci piacciono le ciglia finte, andiamo sul sicuro con il brand specializzato Eylure.

Per il viso

La nostra priorità è quella diproteggere il più possibile la pelle dai raggi UVA e UVB, dunque applichiamo senza eccezione una buona crema solare, che sia leggera ed idratante, come Estee Lauder, la linea DayWear, o CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion with Sunscreen.

Prepariamo la pelle con un buon primer. Il nostro preferito è Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Protection SPF 50, con un fattore solare alto integrato, o Estee Lauder, Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup, altamente waterproof e dunque perfetto per le temperature calde e umide.

«Anche se balliamo per ore ed ore, la nostra pelle resterà luminosa», assicura la pro. «Possiamo anche applicare delle gemme brillanti e del glitter sulla fronte e sulle guance. Le gemme di Gypsy Shrine sono bellissime sulla fronte, nel contorno occhi o anche sul decolté».

Labbra

La combinazione di sole e alcol può causare alle nostre labbra di disidratarsi, dunque è bene mantenerle sempre al top della forma con un buon burro di cacao, da applicare di tanto in tanto. Teniamo sempre a portata di mano il lucidalabbra Collagen Lip Bath di Charlotte Tilbury, o il Lip Gloss Stick Enamoured Hydrating di Marc Jacobs.

Per rimuovere il trucco a fine serata, usiamo le salviette di Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic Facial Wipes o Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes.
