Premiati a Nashville i grandi interpreti della musica country.
Keith Urban e Chris Stapleton sono stati i grandi protagonisti della notte della 52esima edizione dei CMA Awards, tenutisi ieri, 14 novembre, a Nashville.
Il marito di Nicole Kidman ha conquistato la statuetta di Entertainer of the Year, mentre Stapleton ha trionfato in ben tre categorie: Single of the Year e Song of the Year per il brano Broken Halos, e Male Vocalist of the Year.
La co-host Carrie Underwood, presentatasi allo show con il pancione, è stata nominata Female Vocalist of the Year.
Il Vocal Group of the Year è andato alla band degli Old Dominion.
Garth Brooks ha aperto la cerimonia ricordando le vittime della scorsa settimana al Borderline Bar & Grill di Thousand Oaks, California, in cui 12 persone sono rimaste uccise nell’ennesima sparatoria.
Durante il momento di silenzio, sullo schermo sono apparsi i nomi delle persone che hanno perso la vita.
